Beginning Again...the start of a new thing.
Share
Good morning, friends! What a crazy ride it has been for a couple of years!
We started this with a lot of prayer, a lot of hope, and a lot of work. We felt led to share with you the passage that we believe God gave to us to begin, again, building something new and amazing that fit all our needs. Here is that passage.
"Remember not the former things. nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:18-19)
Very fitting for where our family is at and the things we have walked through, and conquered with His help.
We are all a little bit older, and wiser, and as always....creating up a storm around our household.
We decided it was time to lay the old blog to rest with all its reminders of a past life well lived, and move on to a new adventure, just like we are experiencing here out on the South Dakota Prairies.
Our new brand, This Sweet Prairie Life, encompasses all we have experienced and are looking forward to here on the prairies. I'm still over here creating toys, while mastering herbalism and all things naturally minded. My girls have all worked on their own things...my oldest has carried all the life lessons into her own household and is blessing her family with them, while my youngest are nearing young adulthood, and working on their own side businesses.
Under our brand you will see things from all areas of our lives...soaps and herbals, beauty and natural care products, aromatherapy toys and jewelry, sourdough starters and books written by us over the years. We had to start somewhere, so welcome to our little shop from the SD prairie, and watch for the many new things to be added.
Thank you for being a part of our journey for the last 12 years, and for the next adventure phase of our lives. I hope you find joy, and encouragement, as well as purpose through valleys of darkness in our story, and our sharing.
Blessings to you and yours,
Heather
